So this Nosey friend I keep mentioning in my posts has been regularly recommending me songs for the past 6 months, but to no avail. Most of the songs she recommended were pretty boring, much like herself (sorry not sorry). This time, however, she sent me a song that finally lived up to my standards. So here I am today, at last, with one of Nosey’s picks: 취기를 빌려 (Getting Tipsy) by 새봄 (Saevom). I’ve never heard of Saevom before, and I’m surprised I haven’t as she’s got that Acourve/Midnight Lamp vibe going on which (as you all know) I love. From the looks of her songs, she seems to be more of a producer/composer, featuring other singers for most of her songs, and the song I have today is sung by Lee Min-hyuk.
I don’t understand why “drunk confession” is a thing in Korea. The country as a whole puts such an emphasis on relationships, and guys seem to fret an unhealthy amount over the possibility of getting rejected. I suppose it has to do with the ever so puzzling effeminacy of male beauty in Korea.
Speaking of PUZZLing (flawless transition Michael), my girlfriend and I did a puzzle last weekend! Even though she proved to be quite a distraction, we were able to finish the 500 piece puzzle in about 2 hours.
(She chose the puzzle, not me. Just making that clear.)
Much like walking, doing jigsaw puzzles has that soothing effect. For every piece you fit in, a piece of your mind falls out to be filled with peace, and having made some life-altering plans recently, I can definitely use some more of that… which is why I got another one!
This one’s a 1000 piece one, and you can tell that I chose it cause it’s pretty darn normal. I’ll keep you guys updated on the progress . Until then, bye!
