하고 싶은 말 (What I Want to Say)

The debut single by the up and coming acoustic duo Acourve, produced by Acoustic Collabo’s producer Windmill (윈드밀). While acoustic songs can easily sound repetitive and bland, Acourve balance their songs with the perfect amount of simplicity and jazzy rhythm to keep us listening.

The first track ‘Begin’ is a song that literally marks their beginning in the Korean Indie scene. The short yet assertive song (well, not really a song) showcases Kim Jae-hee’s talent and potential as a singer.

The second track ‘What I Want to Say’ featuring Han-Ol (한올) is the title song for this single. Featuring of Han-Ol, the song talks about the ever so typical topic of coping with a breakup (Koreans…). The harmony in the chorus with the Acourve’s signature guitar instrumental… it’s hard to not fall in love with the song right away.
